Hotel channel manager

Manage OTA rates and availability from one place.

Zotel’s hotel channel manager connects online travel agencies (OTAs) with your hotel’s rates, availability and reservations. Manage distribution alongside your PMS and direct booking engine instead of repeating everyday updates in separate extranets.

Channel connections

Connect the channels your property sells on.

Zotel’s channel offering includes the channels below. Each property’s active connections depend on its channel accounts, room mapping and supported integration. Google Hotels is a discovery channel, rather than an OTA.

Connected distribution

Control what you sell, where you sell it and when.

Room types and rate plans are mapped to each channel during setup. Those connections let Zotel exchange the supported rates, inventory and booking information for your property.

Your questions

Hotel channel manager: common questions

Can Zotel connect my PMS, OTA inventory and direct bookings?

Yes. Zotel’s channel manager exchanges rates, availability and supported reservations with mapped OTA connections. Its PMS brings those reservations together with direct bookings for the front-desk team.

I already sell on Booking.com and Agoda. What needs to be set up?

Your existing OTA accounts need supported connections to Zotel, with the property’s room types and rate plans mapped to each channel. The team can then manage supported rates, availability and reservations through those connections. During onboarding, confirm the room and rate-plan mapping and which restrictions each connection supports.

Which rates does Zotel’s price automation change?

The direct-rate automation described here manages eligible booking-engine discount campaigns using available OTA prices on Google Hotels for comparison. OTA rate changes remain part of channel management. The Demand Calendar separately provides AI-generated event and demand context for staff to review.

Does a channel manager prevent every overbooking?

It helps reduce the risk by updating shared availability across connected channels. Simultaneous bookings, connection interruptions and incorrect room or rate mapping can still require staff attention.

Is Google Hotels an OTA?

Google Hotels helps guests discover a property and compare booking offers. A direct booking link can lead to the hotel’s booking engine; this is different from a reservation made through an OTA.
